‘EMBRACE THE CHANGE…..THAT SETS YOU FREE’
So why the Butterfly?
‘Like Butterflies, we go through transitions resulting in perspective which is then pivotal to our well-being & all relationships. By adopting a balanced & healthy stance, we embrace the freedom to create more fulfilling & sustainable life choices. So like butterflies, we can learn how to transition through measured changes’
Butterflies are synonymous as a powerful and spiritual representation of our souls and life, such as how the soul could possess one’s true-self, the soul or the spirit and how too the butterfly suggests the return of a soul to the world of the living. Butterflies symbolise qualities such as love, romance, beauty, freedom, vigour, grace, wisdom, growth or expansion to transformation.
The analogy of a butterfly’s transformation is no different to a human’s need for transformation such as breaking free from adversity, negative emotions or a difficult situation. Any transformational process can be daunting as change means different things to individuals. The uncertainty can evoke excitement and inspiration to some, while others may feel fearful. However, exploring and understanding the feeling of fear is a prerequisite for healing on all levels: emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally. The experience of change and transformation will help you evolve, enabling you to reach and exceed your goals in a positive and satisfying way – ultimately leading to an accomplished and fulfilled life.
Butterflies have qualities of endurance and courage by surmounting undeniable struggle and pain such as experienced during the early stage of development, in ‘the cocoon stage’. This cocoon-like condition resembles depression and withdrawal feelings, commonly shared by people whose lives are affected by mental illness. Positively, butterflies can represent inspiration as they fly free into a whole new world outside the cocoon. When leaving the chrysalis, they embrace ‘Freedom of Life’ – sharing new found beauty and perfection. A freedom that you can experience as you transform, reflecting a new you.
So, just like the butterfly effect, making the smallest change in your life will create an effect in other areas of your life. By helping you, it will also impact on others and change behaviours and lives. You can achieve a positive life pathway by creating and embracing a new destiny, goal or a dream. This can be possible starting by taking small steps, having a weekly plan with a new attainable vision of the future. When you decide to make changes in the way you think and feel, you change your actions and through the process of transformation and working on yourself, you add new value and purpose to lives. When healing, we are actively sharing and helping others, as we develop and emerge free in this transformation.
For instance, when working towards a need or personal goal such as a new life direction, career, fitness regime, or resolving a situation or relationship, you are also teaching others, encouraging skills and positively influencing those around you. Perhaps a change is happening in your life or maybe some form of personal growth could be occurring.
